The carrying values of fixed rate medium term note approximate their fair values. The fair values are estimated using
discounted cash flow analysis based on current rates for similar types of borrowing arrangements.
The carrying value less impairment provision of trade receivables and the carrying value of payables are assumed to
approximate their fair values.
The carrying value of other financial assets (current and non-current), trade and other payables (current and non-
current) and borrowings (current and non-current), are reasonable approximation of their fair values, either due to
their short-term nature or that they are floating rate instruments that are re-priced to market interest rates on or
near the end of the reporting period.
