Financial stability
To us, good performance is not just about proft. It is about running our business in the most sustainable
and responsible way, which is why we have decided to publish our frst sustainability report this year. Here
are four elements of sustainability that we have identifed as having a material impact on our business:

Financial sustainability
There are two aspects of fnancial
sustainability – ensuring that our
operations remain proftable; and
that our capital structure remains
robust and is able to meet fnancial
commitments when due. Analysis of

the Earnings Review section on page
38, while you may refer to page 30 of
the Capital Management section for
details of theTrust’s capital structure.
Investors
Our unitholders provide us with capital
which is used to fund our operations.
We actively engage both potential
and existing investors via face-to-face
meetings and conference calls. In
addition, our website is an excellent
repository of operational and fnancial
information to help investors better
assess a-iTrust. More information on
our investor relations efforts may be
found on page 34.

Customers
To attract top quality customers that
are willing to commit to long leases,
we offer innovative and integrated
solutions that go beyond satisfying
their basic needs. Throughout their
tenure with us, we maintain open
communications to ensure smooth
operations, and in the process, forge
enduring relationships with our
customers. This way, our customers
can take their minds off their real
estate needs and be able to focus on,
and compete more effectively in
their business.
We actively engage our customers
through various networking events
and meetings. Events such as
‘Ascendas Interface’ allow us to
socialise and interact with our
partner property agents where
we show our appreciation for their
partnership and support. Every year
over 300 property agents attend this
event across Bangalore, Chennai
and Hyderabad. Besides engaging
partner agents, we network with
our customers' top management
team via 'Ascendas Connect’, which
is held in all three cities. In FY13/14,
over 350 customers came together
to enjoy a fun-flled evening over
cocktails and entertainment.
We constantly work on improving
our products and services.
Every year, we commission an
independent consultant to conduct
a detailed survey to solicit customer
feedback. Our customers are
asked to rate our performance
on fve factors, namely property
management, lease, fnance,
marketing and company image. The
results from the survey are then
reviewed, and improvements are
made to address specifc concerns
highlighted by customers.
